Artist Statement of Purpose
​I am glad that I get to do what I love every single day.

I wish to be truthful in all I do.
I wish to remain excited about my work.
I wish to expand my knowledge of the craft continually as I age.
I wish to be able to adapt to new ideas.

I desire to continue exploring the nature of my humanity.
I desire to support the people who surround me in creating art.
I desire to allow myself into the character I am creating.

I will approach my work with an open mind and heart.
I will feel joy in creating something that has yet to be done.
I will long to improve my abilities and strategies as the years pass.
I will reflect on the work I have done to improve the work I will do.
I will never blame others for my mistakes.
I will take failures as lessons and use them to my advantage.
I will remember that viewing others as competition is not effective.
I will never doubt my ability.
I will remember that tomorrow is another day.
